My job has me on a plane a lot of days, so I’ve spent the last few years learning how to make airports, hotel rooms, work trips, and time away from home work alongside family life. And sometimes, that has meant finding ways to turn a work trip into a family adventure.

Along the way, I’ve become very particular about what actually makes life easier — the hotel that’s genuinely worth booking with kids, the travel product that’s worth giving up precious suitcase space for, the school find my kids actually use, and the little routines that make being a working mom feel a little more manageable.
